Early pregnancy care (up to 12 weeks):

Pregnant and unsure what comes next?  Navigating the maternity system can be complex.  Early pregnancy care with a private midwife allows for longer appointments in the comfort of your home to ensure all your questions are addressed. Appointments may include:

- Confirmation of a viable pregnancy,

- Discussion about the various maternity care options in Sydney to help you decide what is right for you,

- Information about and referral for early pregnancy screening tests available to you.

Appointments as needed charged at $200/hr, with medicare rebates applicable to eligible women.

Antenatal and Postnatal package:

Continuity of care during your pregnancy and postpartum:

- Flexible appointments depending on your needs. For most women, 10 appointments across the pregnancy, and 8 - 10 appointments across the first six weeks of your postpartum.

- Pregnancy care including regular antenatal check-ups, referral for screening and diagnostics and educational information as needed.

- Postpartum care includes postnatal check-ups for you, regular newborn checks (including newborn screening test), and breastfeeding support.

- Visits in the comfort of your home where your family can easily participate as desired.

- Longer appointments that support sharing of information and education about pregnancy questions important to you.

- Opportunity to build a supportive relationship with me to help you feel safe and empowered.

Total package cost $4800, with medicare rebates applicable to eligible women.

Postnatal only package $2000 (great if you're opting for a private obstetrician and want ongoing support once discharged from hospital).
